We had a round table discussion and there were nine (9) members. We talked about what meds do or do not work for us. The members gave some good information of what can be done to help your rls. I also told them that if I come across any info regarding new information on rls will definitely pass it onto them.
I cannot thank this group enough because if it was not for them, we would not have such a successful support group. I had mentioned that some of us have our rls under control but is so important to come to these meetings to support each other.

Our August 13, 2009 our meeting was awesome. We had a special Guest Speaker, Lynne Kaiser, Support Group Leader from Dallas, Texas and a Regional Liaison.
Lynne's meeting was geared to Quality of Life. One of the things that Lynne discussed was pampering yourself.
Lynne and I made up a gift basket to be raffled off and the proceeds was going to the RLS Foundation in the name of our group Lake Havasu RLS Group.
This was a motivating and inspiring meeting for my group and myself.
In December I brought up to talk about pampering yourself and if they wanted to do another gift basket to be raffled off and the proceeds will go to the RLS Foundation in our name Lake Havasu RLS Group. I also will ask them if they want to use the proceeds for education or research.
My people make up this wonderful support group. I am thankful for them everyday.
